GMSim (gmsim.ca) is an independent web tool that helps NFT miners on the GoMining platform model their returns, compare strategies, and track real-world performance. We are not affiliated with GoMining, its operators, or any exchange. We're just two crypto enthusiasts who got tired of doing the math in spreadsheets.

The core simulator and calculator are free to use. The Site is supported by display advertising served by Google AdSense. We may launch a premium tier with extra features down the road, but the basics will always remain free.
Privacy-first
We collect the minimum needed to operate the Site (your email, basic usage stats). We never ask for wallet keys, seed phrases, or anything that could compromise your funds. Read the full privacy policy for the details.

GMSim is built and maintained by two people — one based in Canada, one in the UAE. We mine on GoMining ourselves, which is how the project started. We use the same tool you use.

FAQ
Is GMSim affiliated with GoMining?
No. GMSim is an independent third-party tool built by GoMining users for GoMining users. We're not endorsed by or partnered with GoMining.
How does the auto-sync extension work?
The Chrome extension intercepts API calls when you visit app.gomining.com and stores the relevant data (hashrate, prices, discounts, reward history) locally in your browser. GMSim reads it from localStorage. Nothing is sent to our servers — everything stays on your machine.
Are my data and credentials safe?
Yes. The extension only reads API responses you've already authenticated to via GoMining. No keys, passwords, or wallet seeds are ever touched. All your settings, transactions, and history live in your browser's localStorage — not on a remote server.
Why are the numbers slightly different from the GoMining app?
GMSim uses publicly-documented formulas (electricity at $0.05/kWh, service at $0.0089/TH, plus your discount stack). GoMining may apply additional rounding, internal adjustments, or use slightly different daily averages. The Validation tab shows you the per-day delta when you sync reward history.
How often does the data refresh?
Live BTC and GMT prices: every 5 minutes via CoinGecko. Network hashrate: every 10 minutes via mempool.space. Auto-sync from your GoMining dashboard: instantly when the extension intercepts new data, plus a 15s safety poll.
Can I use GMSim without the extension?
Yes — click Enter manually on the Dashboard to type your miner data, BTC/GMT prices, and discounts. All calculations work without the extension. The extension just saves you typing.
